On this page, you will find all of my online income reports. I’ve been through many online transitions.
I’ve been through many online transitions. When I first started, I was only earning money through freelance writing (learn more about how to become a freelance writer) and online side hustles. Some of those hustles included taking surveys, website testing, and blog commenting.
Now, this blog earns an income all on its own. Therefore, my current income reports reflect blogging income. There are many ways a blog can make income and I discuss them in detail in each blog income report.

My blog didn’t start earning a decent income until I invested in a course called, Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. This course taught me everything I needed to know to grow my blog income. Each month it keeps getting better.

Start a Blog and Build Your Own Blog Income Reports
First, let me begin by saying that blogging isn’t for everyone. You have to have an incredible amount of patience and give yourself grace on your blogging journey.
When I began blogging, I didn’t care about my blog earning an income. I started LAAB to build my online portfolio in personal finance so I could get writing gigs.
My early blog income reports only share what I was making freelancing and with online side hustles. LAAB didn’t start to earn a cent until almost a year after I started blogging. Even then, the income wasn’t enough to earn a full-time income.
However, since I started solely focusing on growing my blog income, I continue to make positive progress each month (despite a few setbacks that I was already prepared for).

Step 1
When you’re ready to begin, the very first thing you want to do is get your domain. Some people who start blogging start on free domains; however, this isn’t the way to go.
You want to OWN your site. What if you create a blog that has amazing content and one day blogger decides to shut you down? It happens everyday!
Plus, you want to look professional. Brands reach out to bloggers who take their blogs seriously. If you sign up using my Bluehost link, you’ll get your domain free!
Step 2
Next, you will need to get your hosting. There are many to choose from, but I use Bluehost. They are great for beginning bloggers who are on a budget. I haven’t had any issues with them and the price is right.
With Bluehost, pricing starts at around $3.95, which is only $47.00 for 12 months! If you pay for at least a year, your domain is free using this link.
You can read all the instructions in this post How to Start a Blog on a Budget.
Step 3
Now you’ll want to start blogging! To give yourself an immediate advantage, I recommend investing in Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. I went from earning $0 in affiliate income on my blog to $189 after taking this course. I basically made my money back.
I basically made my money back. It has continued to progress and eventually I will earn a full-time income from LAAB. It’s best to start your journey slowly and focus on providing good content.
