Cheap self care items are an absolute must in my life and believe it or not, it’s not that expensive. I’m not talking about elaborate weekend getaways or trips to the spa. Heck, I’m not even talking about a bi-weekly mani/pedi.
My self-care ritual has evolved over time and the older I get, the more I realize that you don’t have to spend a ton of money. You can definitely treat yourself without spending money and it’s something that can be interwoven into your everyday life.
But every now and then, I do like to buy something for myself, but again, it’s not expensive as one may think. I have a list of go-to cheap self-care items that help keep me sane. These would also make the perfect cheap self-care gifts to give to someone else too!

These bath salts are the ABSOLUTE BEST EVER and are a definite must on any cheap self-care items must-have list. Anytime I need to detox or decompress, I always grab a bag of these and add it to my bath along with some almond oil. I love them and I really can’t say enough good things about taking a warm bath with salts. You just need to try it to believe it. Just be sure to close the door, make the room nice and steamy and light a candle. Oh, and music. Gotta have the music.
