Valentines Day Family Activities For Every Member of Your Family
Valentine’s Day Treats
Let’s begin with some tasty valentine’s day treats! I mean who doesn’t love those, right? Kids of all ages will enjoy these treats and I’m not going to lie, you probably will too! Ask your minis or significant other for a little help in making some of these treats. Be sure to check your pantry for ingredients you may already have on hand before heading to the grocery store. Here are more than a few treats worth trying this year…
First of all, this Valentine’s Day Bark looks absolutely delicious. The materials needed to make this bark are super affordable, which is why it made my list of Valentine’s Day family activities. I’m pretty certain your local Dollar Tree or Dollar General sells the majority of the materials. If not, feel free to substitute with other red candies that are to your family’s liking.
You’re definitely coming out ahead if you make some of these chocolate-covered strawberries. The last time I checked, local grocery stores were selling these for an exorbitant amount of money. Too much, if you ask me…especially since these are super easy to make.
Next up on our fun, Valentine’s day activities list is making some of these Strawberry White Chocolate Hot Cocoa Bombs! February is the perfect time to indulge in anything hot cocoa related and as soon as you’re finished whipping these up, enjoy them at the park or while watching a family-friendly movie.
For breakfast, you can whip up some fun Heart-Shaped Air-Fryer Pop-Tarts. Pair them with some eggs and bacon and I’d say you have a great festive Valentine’s Day brunch.
If pop-tarts aren’t your jam, make a batch of these Heart-Shaped Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast or brunch. They are super easy to make and again, affordable!
Another budget-friendly Valentine’s breakfast or brunch option is pancakes! You and your family can whip up a batch of these heart-shaped pancakes to enjoy.
Who loves pizza? Just about every kid in America, so delight their little hearts and gather all of your materials to help them make heart-shaped pizzas this Valentine’s Day. I’m sure they’ll be a hit!
What’s Valentine’s Day without chocolate? I don’t know about you or anyone else, but I love chocolate and so do my kids. These Chocolate Mousse hearts look delish and will more than likely be making it onto my list of Valentine’s day family activities. I’ll put all the ingredients out, let them do the work, and enjoy the treats. What better way for them to treat their mother on love day?
I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this tasty recipe for Valentine’s Day popcorn. This popcorn would be a perfect Valentine’s treat to give to others or enjoy for a Valentine’s Day snack.
If you have a heart-shaped cookie cutter, grab it and whip up a batch of chocolate chip cookies.

Last but not least, you could make a trip to Baskin Robbin’s for some Valentine’s Day Inspired Ice Cream if it’s within your budget.
Which of these Valentine’s Day treats are you looking forward to making?
Creative Valentine’s Day Crafts and Art Projects
Next up are some creative ideas you can add to your Valentine’s activities. You’ll need to gather some simple materials before Valentine’s day, but a craft project is a perfect way to involve younger children and make their little hearts excited. Some of these craft ideas might make great gifts to give to their family and friends as well. Let’s get into these fun valentine’s day crafts, shall we?
These cute Valentine’s Day Rocks would be fun to make with younger children and heck, even your artistic older kids may enjoy the activity too. I think these would be super cute to gift to someone who loves plants or has a garden. They can place them in their plants or around their garden and remember how much they are loved!
How many of you have a bunch of unloved crayons sitting around your home? (raises hand!) I don’t know what it is about kids and broken crayons, but once a crayon shows any little imperfection, they don’t want anything to do with them anymore. So this is a great learning opportunity for your kiddos. They can learn to recycle those crayons into something amazing by creating these Silicone Heart-Shaped Crayons!
If you or any of your family members love crafts like this, these Valentine’s Day Pillows would be the perfect art project to complete on or before Valentine’s Day. These would make cute gifts for others as well.
Aren’t these Sparkly Painted Clay Pots the cutest? These would actually be a fun thing to do before Valentine’s Day so you can add treats to them and have them ready for your kids on Valentine’s Day.
I love this Heart Art Project. All you need is paint, a ruler, and a little imagination. With those three ingredients, you’ll create a thoughtful and creative piece of art that you can store away and use for Valentine’s Day decor each year. Thinking ahead can save you money!
Create a few of these Pop-up Paper Hearts Valentine’s Day Cards to give to friends, loved ones, or to each other. Because come on, let’s face it – greeting cards are just getting uglier and more expensive. Am I right?
Here’s another Valentine’s Day Family activity you can do together. Two options: 1) Make a batch of valentine cards (put that red construction paper to good use!) 2) Create mason jar treats (but only if you already have jars on hand because those jars can get a little pricey!).
Valentine’s day is a perfect time to share family love through an act of kindness to others. Share your homemade valentines with the rest of your family, neighbors, teachers, or church groups.
Last, this mason jar craft would be the perfect opportunity to create a little dinner table ambiance for a little at-home date night once the kids go to sleep!
